| Hey people I'm back from the msia trip with ODAC! :D
I can't post everything that happened so I shall just type some of the main highlights.
Day 1:
1. Unexpected guest
A vice principal (you can guess who) turned up.
2. Leeches
First person to kena a leech: Clivia. He totally screamed vulgarities when he saw the bloodsucker on his leg there LOL. More and more of us tio leeches and I think eventually everyone got. I still remember when I felt something on my leg, I lifted up my track pants and asked Yuchong to check for me cos I didn't dare to see.
Me: Got any??
Yuchong: Ya, got 2 already.
Me: *thinks yc is joking* Really meh.
*peeks*
Then I screamed-.-
It's a natural reaction okay. 2 bleedy leeches side by side leh! Looks like a pair of lips (a disgusting pair). Damn gross!!! Then after you spray them with insect repellents, they wriggle in pain before dropping off and your blood spills all over. Woots.
The worst was when the leech went all the way up my shirt and bit me!! GROSS TTM! Then when I was bathing just now I realised got 3 bite marks right below my erhem, bra. I thank god for this wonderful protection called bra, if not who knows what will happen.
And seems like everyone can't stop bleeding once they got bitten. Everyone looked so tattered and drenched in blood hahaha so funny. Sheila looked like she was stabbed in the stomach cos of all the blood.
In the end I tio 7 bites ):
But by the 2nd day, all of us are so immuned that we started keeping the leeches on our bodies just to see how fat they can get.
3. At the peak
We reached the peak super early heh, like around 3+pm. It was raining heavily and super cold and we started setting up the tents in the rain, with Mr Oh looking like a witch cos he was wearing a black poncho + black hat. So we were all like, wet and muddy and bloody and leech-ridden and cold and tired. Anyway, we totally stoned in the tents from 4. Then we cooked dinner at 5 and stoned more while eating inside our cosy tent. Then continue stoning until the next morning. LOL. Stoners ftw. And the weather was so brrrrrrrrr great :D
I'm amazed by how big grasshoppers can get. I'm damn suaku :(
Day 2
1. SHIT
Edmund stepped on someone's shit while peeing in the wilderness lol! It stank up our entire campsite.
2. Leeches
Yea more leeches. They just got bigger by the next day cos most people can't really be bothered to check their legs regularly anymore.
3. Wasps
Some people actually got stung by wasps LOL. I find it quite funny.
4. Abseiling
Abseiling down makes you feel super close to Mother Nature cos you get to hug slimey moss. I must say I was very scared actually, cos I'm a total scaredy cat when it comes to ascending down almost vertical and slimey gradients without any harness. But we made it through eventually. v^^v
5. Canoeing
The initial part was paddling, which was boring. The exciting part actually started when it rained so heavily that raindrops felt piercing on the skin, winds became so strong that the waves pushed the canoes back and we couldn't see the path in front.
After lots of struggling to remain at the same spot, the speedboat came and saved us!!! We held onto the boats and ZOOOOOOOOOOOMED~! Damn fun!!! Hahahahahahaah. The water imba strong then splash until cannot open eyes at all and the canoes were like half flooded. My hands that were holding onto the canoe next to me felt like they were gonna drop off when the boat accelerated. Imba fun woots.
But the water was frigging gross.
Fwahahaha I had fun!
